This page contains a collection of images of the Minimates ranges from various sources. Some are from Art Asylum or Diamond Select Toys as promotional pictures, some are retailer pictures, some are pictures from trade shows of Minimate prototypes that were never released or looked different from the final version. Click the small pictures to be taken to larger versions.

Early Marvel Minimates Promotional Pictures

This was one of the first promotional pictures released for the Marvel Minimates line. All the Minimates featured have now been made apart from Ultimate Colossus.

This is an infamous picture because it features several characters drawn in the Minimate style that have not been released yet, which fans have been wanting to see since the line's inception.

This pic features not only the line in its entirity up to wave 3, but also shows the prototypes for Bullseye and Battle Damaged Daredevil. Whilst Daredevil did not change, the blue and grey Bullseye prototype is pictured in the section below.

Magazine Pictures and Artwork

Some really cool artwork of the Minimates fighting Galactus. This piece featured in Toyfare 80 as an intro to their Marvel Minimates price guide feature and was done by R Hunter from www.MillionairePlayboy.com

Prototype Pictures

The much more subdued tones of the prototype Bullseye.

Prototype picture of the C3 Chemical Warehouse set. Notice that the set is larger and has a "HazMat" suited Batman which didn't make it into the final version.

All the following pictures are of the Art Asylum C3 display at Toy Fair 2005, comprising sets based on the Batman Begins movie and "The Batman" cartoon. Sadly none of these sets were picked up by retailers.

The Tumbler!

The Batcave.

Ninjas and places to fight.

Another cool-looking play set.

This one would have come with a Scarecrow figure.

Erm, a van.

A 60s-influenced Joker's Lair.

The car looks similar to the Mini-Batmobile but does feature some different pieces.

The Batman Batmobile. This is where the cartoon-accurate Batman would have been featured.

Look at the size of that Batplane!

A platform for all your Bat-vehicles.

These next two shots are of the Star Trek Minimates wave 3 and beyond, sadly these weren't picked up either. I suspect the TNG stuff would have been a surprise hit, but there you go.
